Problems powering up...

Hi,

I have an X51V and have recently been experiencing problems powering up. FOr no apparent reason the unit will not power up using the power button, even after holding the button down, and with soft resets.

When I place it in the cradle. the button flashes green/orange, then boots up through the Dell and Windows Mobile splash screens before booting up, but still with the button flashing green/orange. When I take the unit out of the cradle it powers down and I can't get it to power up.

The only thing I have done recently is place a new 1100mAh battery.

Any clues/hints??

Sounds like you might have gotten a bad battery. If you still have the original I would put that back in and see if the problems continue.
