Removing orphaned App links on Start menu

Hi guys, I uninstalled some applications from my Axim and now I have orphaned App links on my Start menu. So when I go to Settings > Menus, I cannot remove the uninstalled application links. How do I remove this? Is this done in the registry? Please advise so I can clean up the application links in my Settings > Menus page. Thanks!

Browse to the /Windows/Startmenu folder and delete the files that don't belong:approve:

Thanks, I went to that folder and all the programs that are there should be there.

The problem is on the actual Settings > Menus page where you can check/uncheck programs. On the programs I had uninstalled then reinstalled I have duplicate entries on this page. One is checked, the other is unchecked. If I try to check/uncheck either, I get a "Unable to move that item" error. Does this make any sense?
