WM5 isnt being recognized as a USB Mass Storage Device

hey ppl i just recently upgraded to WM5 because i wanna utilize the Mass storage feature and for some reason its doesnt appear to be a USB Mass Storage. It always seen by Active Sync. I uninstalled AS to see if that would work and still nothing. Is there any way on how i can activate it please let me kno. Thnxs =)

I have never hear of wm5 making your device show as USB mass storage. I do know that you can press a button on activesync to explore you pocket pc and It lets you access files on your device but its more like accessing via ftp because file access is kind of slow

What you need is a little program called CardExplorer, does the trick. But don't have a link handy.

Hi everyone, These is an application that supposedly makes WM 5.0 devices appear as mass storage. I have the CAB file. it is called "WM5torage160" I installed it but haven't had time to test it. I don't remember where I got it from. And don't know if it can be emailed.

Wm5torage is freeware.
Card export is not.

Card export - faster, can support CF and SD at same time.
Wm5torage - can only support one, slow.
