Music Synchronization

I have a problem, I want music to synchronize with my SD card and not my PDA, this didnt used to be a problem, but now it is. The playlists I synchronize, synchronizes music not only to my SD card but to the Axim aswell meaning that I get the annoying storage space error, can someone help me? im not sure what to do, because on windows media it does show it synchronizing to the SD card but then if I look at the music folder on my axim, all the different artist folders start appearing and its so annoying.

Please Help

I haven't tried to use WMP to symc that often. If you connect you Ax, then select the Sync tab, it should list the available storage areas on the Ax (Axim, BIS, CF Card, SD Card, etc.).

Do you have a card reader? You may be able to sync directly to the SD card in a reader.

You can use programs like MightySync to transfer/sync files/folders....I use it for my music folder and works great.

Activesync drops connection while syncing music

Do you have a problem where active sync disconnects while syncing music? I can't sync more than maybe 6-10 files at a time before the connection is lost.
I am using Activesync 4.2

I have had no such problems with WMP 10 and I tend to sync 500+mb at a time. However, I ONLY use the sync option for my WMA-DRM files. If they are unencrypted, regularly burned wma, mp3, etc. files; I just copy and paste the files via card reader (it is much faster than syncing).

I'm trying out WMP 11 now and haven't done any syncing with it yet, so no comment yet...
