any fix to unrecognized cf card

when I google this, the best I could do is get a reference to go to dells site, but I found nothing there addressing this problem.

I found an older 64 meg sandisk cf card lying around the shop, and using a linux system I formatted it to vfat.

when I put it in the slot, I see nothing. soft reset is no cure. I'm not doing a hard reset, too much work to re-install all my stuff...

any tips?

VFAT may be the problem. I'm not sure the Axim can use anything other than FAT16 or FAT32.
