Upgrading from A04 -> A12

Hi anyone
I've a question: I got my Axim x51v two weeks ago and it has the german A04 Rom Flash. I can't find an upgrade to A12 for this. I tried the R129272.exe and R129882.exe but both didn't work (the first says I have the wrong language version and the other is the upgrade to A04 which is allready installed). Can anyone help me? I searched the side but didn't find anything...

I guess the foreign A04 is akin to the us A12 rom,nonetheless it doesn't resolve the one issue that still exists which is the screen corruption that occurs when browsing the web.

Just up graded from A06 --> A12

So far i'm very happy w/ the results. But as always there are things to work out.

I've also noticed that the fake server trick is required w/ the A12, but it's mentioned that it's not required w/ the upgrade, but i had to do it b/c i was having the same problems w/ AS self starting until i did the fake server trick

Other wise i've noticed a significant pick up w/ opening programs etc. So it was worth while for me.

I think the point was that it needs to be in German. I hate to say it, but I have the feeling a German version may not be available.

you're right Box. The A04 is the latest german ROM. I've changed the language to english and then I've upgraded to A12. (english is always better than german ;). Works great now
