anyway to disable the automatic activesync when x51v is cradled?

Is there any way to disconnect the auto activesync when the 51v is cradled as I the screen keeps coming alive every 10mins or so, and even when it is on dim, it does take longer to charge up if active sync is on.

It would be better for me to be able to manually active sync when I choose even tho it is cradled all the time.

Actually - it's the x51v who request the AS regularily.
The icon pops up on my ax even when not in the cradle. Would like a fix ... :p

I use ActvieSyncToggle to disable ot enable ActiveSync on my computer. Works great.

Does anyone else have this problem?
now with active sync toggle, the active sync software doesn't kick-in all the time (but only manually)

However, the battery doesn't charge-up now except when it is synced even tho it is docked in cradle? am I missing something here?

do you have the power supply plugged in?

USB only provides enough power to EITHER have the device on, OR to charge the battery. USB doesn't provide enough power to do both at the same time.

I just disabled "USB connection" under settings on my desktop and synchronize via BT.

I may be wrong but, I set my AS to manual and it only syncs when I tell it to. With the exception of when I first put it in the cradle, which is actually what I want.

Just downloaded the toggle program. And i must say this is exactly what i was looking for. I haven't tried it for long, but since the download it's worked as said.

I like to be able to set my axim to charge on my cradle, w/o having to have it sync all over again. I have a couple of programs that sync and take a while. But since it only requires to be synced once in a day or maybe even a week this is perfect.
