AVRCP support on MS stack

Hi I'm using A12 ROM on x51v with HT820 stereo headphones. I was using the Widcomm hack at one stage but i had a strange problem where the connection would drop after about 5 mins, but only once...it's fine after that until I disconnect.

Anyway, I'm very happy with the A12 ROM and the MS stack but I would love AVRCP support (be able to pause and stop player). Is this coming soon or is there a way to get it working without using the Widcomm hack?

Sorry if this has already been answered but I think you'll all agree searching the BT threads is a major headache :rolling:

Well, the last time I installed it on an A12 ROM, it caused the Axim not to recognize the HT820's which paired up quite happily with the MS BT stack, without any noticeable improvements outside of the much-better config wizard. Incidentally, those work fine with the MS BT stack's built in AVRCP- at least with PocketPlayer, WMP, and TCPMP.

All you SHOULD need to do is pair them - I did that, and A12 immediately connected to the headset (Set as Wireless Stereo) and used the AVRCP buttons and profile without prompting.

IMO Widcomm stack is not working properly, not for me anyway. As I've mentioned I have a problem with the connection dropping.

It turns out it was the Widcomm stack which has broken my AVRCP. I've done a hard reset and it works fine on the MS stack. Installed Widcomm again and uninstalled it to verify and what do you know, no more AVRCP on the MS stack
