Changing font colour on the Today screen

Can anybody tell me how to change the font colour on the Today screen. I have changed the background and am now having difficulty in reading the text.

You can do this several ways. You can use a theme editor such as that suggested above; you can use a tweaker program; or you can edit the registry yourself to make the change.

You can control the Today screen text color through the registry.

The key is \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Color\4. If it does not exist create a new binary key.

Enter the color as a hex value in the following format: rr gg bb 00. For example, white = ff ff ff 00.

You can do the same for the horizontal bars on the Today screen as well using this key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Color\6
