Annoying double tap!

Hi guys,
I recently got my x51v with English Rom A12.
I installed a lot of programs including Resco File Explorer, Pocket Informant 2007, Spb pocket plus, etc. Since I installed Spb Pocketplus, the "X" on the top right corner of each program equals to "close" instead of "minimize".
I found a really annoying feature of wm5.0. A lot of times when I SINGLE tap on the top right corner to close a dialogue or program, it behaves as if I tapped twice. For example, in Resco File Explorer, I checked the property of a file and hit "OK" to close the window, then the Resco File Explorer gets closed, too. When I go to "Start--> Settings" and tap any settings I want to change and tap "OK", the whole "setting" window got closed.

What's most annoying is this: some programs shows a warning windows upon running, which has an "OK" button on the top right corner. Guess what, whenever I tap the "OK", the first window gets closed as well as the whole program!

And this is not a hardware problem because I installed pocket installer and use mouse clicking instead of tapping. Same thing happened.

This is really annoying and sometimes driving me nuts. Can anyone help?
Thanks a lot!

I heard of this problem before, I'm pretty sure that Pocketplus causes it. When you tap in the top right of the screen with it installed, Pocketplus assumes that you are clicking an "X" button without actually checking if it is "OK" or "X".

So you click OK and Pocketplus closes the entire program that was running.

My solution is just to close applications from their own File -> Exit or Tools -> Exit menu when I want them closed and use the X if I want to minimize. Microsoft's applications don't have an Exit option but I don't find it a problem because they seem to behave as if closed when you minimize them (i.e. they don't slow everything else down), I think they have been programmed "better" than some 3rd party apps which just continue running in the background at full speed.

Hi Rohanch,
I think you are right. I disabled the "Close" function of spb pocketplus and the problem seems to be solved now. Let me see if it would happen again.

I used spb pocketplus in wm 2003se on x50v with the same settings without such problem. There might be some bug in the wm5.0 version. Anyway, handyswitcher would do the same "Close" job. I am too used to windows in PC.

Thanks for your advice!
