Did you see his employee card or something already? Or is it just convenient to believe only what lets you justify your own actions?

Lets see, is post number six he says, "i work for dell so i get some info".
So I am stupid all around for believing even part of his story?
Now who's being mean?

umm I have an x50v so I will be able to install it on it... and I do have an axim emulator (Rough) that someone gave me that I have been using to try and make my own image of CE6 -- I guess I could try it in that.

The point, obviously, is that you've already got it. So you know for sure that it exists and you are not feeling any pressure of needing it anymore. Everyone else doesn't have any proof that this all isn't some joke. (Other than the reputations of the people who say they have got it -- but I am new to this site so I know none of you.)
BTW I didn't say you were being mean. The "select few" was saying we were being mean.

By your own previous post you stated that Dell monitors this forum. Further, Dell certainly has records of everyone that either purchased the X50V WM5 upgrade separately or purchased an X50V bundled with the WM5 upgrade for an additional $50. You also state that Dell has acknowledged this as a valid complaint. Therefore, Dell needs to step up and fix the problem without individuals having to waste their time collectively.
Finally, if in fact this is a true Dell-sanctioned WM5 upgrade V2 for the X50V (which is highly unlikely), then the manner in which it is being handled further substantiates my position to do no further business with Dell. And if it is not a Dell-sanctioned upgrade and Dell is not stepping in and calling a halt to these rumors, then that also substantiates this position.

Still my X50v Is running like a charm with WM05 so when the update is released for the masses you guys might like it a lot. Untill then we shall keep testing it to assure that it is ready for the public.
The only gripe I have is it is spunky as WM03 most of the time (I have half the main memory filled with apps and another 1G SD card with all kinds of stuff + 6G Microdrive also full.)
But on occasion it gets slow and stuck at 624mhz... I thought this was compaction but looking in the task manager doesnt show me anything that is using the system to cause it to slow down..
A soft reset fixes this and it isnt like this at all after a nice clean hard reset with empty memory so im guessing it might just be a program causing it with a memory leak or something.. Ill keep lookin around but atm im away from my comp with all my software.
Another small issue is hard reset or not it looks like the new rom takes even more ram away from the user. I can only get 27Megs free. (So that mean no Tony Hawk :( )
Im hoping that there could be a fix for TH to make it work with 1 meg less memory but eh. oh well.
Maby once everyone gets this update they can tweek the rom a tad to free up some memory that should be there for us.

Compaction wouldn't show up in the task manager...don't only running programs show up there? Or are you using a 3rd party task manager?

Bingo, the plug can be pulled any time they want. As I stated above I have an opinion of what is going on, but I will keep it to myself. If you don't like the way Dell dose business you don't have to buy from them it is simple as that. Well now Juraj is putting it on the table. Have your cake and eat it to . Everybody has what they want now so the point is moot.

It doesn't show up as it's the always-running device.exe that gets some 90-95% CPU time then. Use for example acbPowerMeter (see my related article) to see when it's active.

It shows up as Filesys.exe if I am not mistaken? Although I always see that thread in the free task manager I found in one of the links here.
