yeh simple.
Upgraded my X50v to WM2005 A01
Then installed the upgrade from Juraj.
NB: to the 4 people that have PM'd me asking for the download link, Sorry I said to Juraj i wouldnt give the link out. You'll just have to wait till he's back online - Sorry

FYI - I just got off chat with Dell Support about my "excel" issue (published on another thread). At the end of the chat I said:
ME: "By the way, I'm running WM5 A01 on my x50v (with some hacks obtained on Aximsite.com). It is really working quite well - the only real hurdle has been overcoming compaction thread issues, for which I applied a patch. When will A02 for WM5 on x50v be issued?"
DELL: "Chas, there has being no update till date. The moment the updates are available customers will be updated through promotional campaign."
I just find it interesting, he did not deny the existence of an upgrade. It's a change to the company line, don't you think. . .
I'm beginning to think I might really be able to upgrade to A02 pretty soon. BTW, it was because of the latest posts here that I asked Dell support the above question.

About a week ago my Axim froze so I went the warranty route. While talking to the Tech Support guy he said that as soon as Microsoft approved the new version Dell would release it.

SO.......what about the x50 users...(not x50v) I have followed the thread from the start...why no update to the x50 rom as well...why only x50v???? Is the Rom specific???Juraj says it's for x50v only....WHY??? Should I throw my x50 out now in disgust???

Is Juraj's A02 update the same as the A02 update that Dell will (eventually) release? Or is it a previous build?

The A02 beta ROM is HEAVEN !!!! just a new soul for my x50V ... the exorcism works!!
works like a charm ...the compactation shi(##/&%"·) doesn't bother any more
i install all my progarms right the in the main memory and works very speedy
the memory consumption is very good .. i haae 30 mb free and with alot of thing running i still have 26 mb free
compactation theard start but just for a few minutes the it never came back
so good by now
even boot faster than A01:approve: :approve: :approve:

Totally gutted....Dell suck. Change thread name to X50V ONLY!!!!!!!!! so that no poor unsuspecting x50 user gets done over reading nearly thirty pages of crap that dont apply to their pda... 
x50 users get back in your corner..........and stay there.

Great Update A02
Yes, I did the update also I have a X50v with WM5 English installed and I install the A02 upgrade and works like a charm. Great stuff. I got everything working just fine even games and all. And yes it is a lot faster than before.
For anyone that wants to know.

LOL, easy sed8ed (might wanna take that name seriously). Read down a few posts. Looks like Juraj only had the X50v update, but there is an update for all X50 users (still not sure why someone would buy a non V model tho...)
