Strange notification queues causing battery drain?

In general, the axim 51v is running stable but once a while I'll see a 10% or more power drop over night. I've always turned off wifi and bt. I was checking the notification queue with Memmaid and noticed the following:

\windows\calupd.exe - this is set to run usuall in 2-3 days at 12:00 AM

CALNOT.exe - December 03, 12:00:22AM

Anyone has idea what those two processes are?

I had no idea what these are and they are always there and have a scheduled date in near future. I've tried deleting those and reset the device, however they keeps on coming back.

Also, for those who has agile messenger. Everytime I run it, it will leave a notification queue and set to run every 5 mins. It will remain there even if you close the messenger. Anyone know what that process is for?

I believe that the two calendar things are the normal daily calendar updates that cause the pda to turn on each night at midnight. I don't think you can delete them but someone may have a way. i believe they are harmless. have you checked to make sure that something on your today screen isn't trying to update when it does turn on? maybe something like mail or a weather program?

You know you could stop the power drain by charging your unit every night :-P

I agree with you on the notification queue. I just reinstalled Agile Messenger 59 recently because 63 started charging and I started noticing battery drain. Sometimes when I do a soft reset, I get a notification error regarding AgileMessenger.exe or something like that (basically regarding Agile Messenger). I uninstalled it yesterday and no more, I have no more battery drain.
