Computer not recognizing axim?

I just hard reset my axim, and now my computer isn't even recognizing anything when I plug it into the usb cradle.

Instead of the normal low high beep sound that your computer makes when it connects to a usb device, it makes 3 low beeps right in a row. I can't figure out why it isn't making the right sound and connecting. Thanks in advance for your help.

Does it have a yellow exclamation mark in device manager? if so, you may need to remove it and scan for hardware change to add it back.

That is exactly what happens to mine when I try to sync. Ijust hard reset, and now I want to sync. When I put the Ax in the dock, there's a yellow exclamation point, and the error says: USB Device Not Recognized. :realmad: :realmad: :realmad: I just synced yesterday and it worked fine. I'm going to try to uninstall ActiveSync 4.2 (which I installed yesterday) and reinstall AS 4.0. This is freaking stupid. My Axim's warranty expired, and now I can't even sync! I HATE Active Sync...
