Battery level drop 15-20% in 15mins....

Hi all, is it normal for the X51v battery level to drop so fast?

I was 100%, fully charged before I bring it out... started to use it to enter some appointments, and it is not constantly on for 15 mins. It's only on and off when I need to enter some info...

Processor speed was on auto, and brightness level was about @ 20-30%.

Is it normal? Or something is wrong with the battery or unit?

Rapid battery drain is one of the issues fixed by the 'fake server trick' but many people have found the latest ROM (A12) also solves these issues.

It still happens periodically with ROM A12. Yes, the fake server trick seems to take care of it.

After a couple months, I had it happen again on my X51v. Of course it was happening when I was away, driving a lot, and left the 12volt charger at home. The fake server trick needed to be set up again, then all was good.
