Thanks for your time.

Copy it to the temp directory, then click it using the file explorer. It will run and allow it to install to the default installation location. A soft reset and you're finished.

DST 2007 CAB file for Axim x51

It says to use the key info in a .inf file then a cab file. How does one go about that? Do you just open the cab file on the WM5 pda?
Thanks.
I found someone who created the CAB file containing the registry fix discussed in the Microsoft article 923953. I already installed it on my Axim x51v and it works fine. Once installed, you will have to select a different Time Zone on the PDA and accept the change, then go back and select your correct Time Zone.

To test, I simply changed the date to March 11, 2007 - 1:59 am. I waited 1 minute and it automatically advanced my time to 3:00 am.

OK, I just noticed this apparent glitch. I see that all my appointments from Mar 11 to Apr 1 (the additional DST added this year) are now 1 hour later than supposed to be. What gives??

Yeah mine did the same thing. Scheduled everything an hour early and it also duplicated stuff on different days...

How did you uninstall? Did you use the device "Remove Programs" function?

Thanks. I did that, and it's gone, and the times on my Ax reverted to normal. However, the same appointments are still one hr off on my laptop's Outlook calendar. I have the question into our IT guys as to what they're going to do with the Exchange server and our PDA's.

I have gone to the Windows Mobile site (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...ings_1033.mspx) and pressed the button on the bottom of the page "ACCEPT AND DOWNLOAD", but nothing happens. It should be noted that I am using a Mac PowerPC G4, and Microsoft sometimes doesn't work with Macs when it comes to downloading things.

Is there any way, other than using a PC, that I could get the download that Microsoft has for this Daylight Savings fix? Could someone PM me with this download.

Thank you all, in advance.

I am using Safari. I have Firefox too. I didn't think about using Firefox. Thank you. I'll tell you how it goes.

Again, thank you.
