Displaying Chinese characters.....

Hi all,

Is there a way to display Chinese characters on my X51v?

u need to download ce-star
It enable your WM5 device to view and write Chinese and Japanese in all applications.

You can read Chinese without using CE-Star or Monster Chinese. Should you decide to use commercial software, do note that monster chinese had compatibility problem with A12 ROM.

reading chinese

You can simply load a chinese font , msming or mssong, are the two I have. Imported documents with chinese caracters, can be read. sometimes the original font is not recognised but just reformat with one of the above fonts on the pc or pda and everything comes good. It is not possible to write characters without additional software.

The echinaNo5 file from this site should allow you to read most oriental languages (Chinese, Japanese, perhaps Korean). Get the file for WM5:
