I would check with the seller, they may have made an honest mistake. Unless you know a little about Axims you could be mistaken about which model it is. But if you find that they have scammed you then do everything possible to let Ebay know that they are not an honest seller. I use Ebay all the time both as a buyer and seller and know the importance of a good rating. We are all sorry here if you have a bad experience with your Ax. Hope to see you again and welcome.

His rating was 100%, with 862 valid feedbacks (some were multiple, so counted only once. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. The only problem I've had is that I've left 2 voicemail messages (one today and one right after I won, asking him about the wifi) and sent 3 emails (the first two just as a written record of what I said over the phone, and one via Paypal as a disputed item). I'm pretty sure he'll do the right thing.
I sure wish I had explored this forum a little more; I posted the Axim back on eBay. I didn't notice you had a classified section, and it looks like no eBay links are allowed. Anyway, what is a fair price for one of these?
You really shouldn't buy things like this without a good amount of research IMO. I got my practically brand new Axim x51v with NuSheild screen protectors and warranty till the end of April off of eBay for $285. If you spend some time with it and know what your doing, you can find a good deal. I'm sure if I spent even more time I could have found one for $275 (I was only looking around eBay for about 2 days). Look around at what others are selling for and good look with you auction, I hope you get the Axim you really wanted in the long run for a fair price!

Have you heard from Ebay officials yey? They will settle the dispute especially if you did not received advertised item. You might or should get your money back. I had a disoute awhile ago & it was settled. Ebay is a very reputable auction site; just would not want you to think that the majority of sellers are like that. I have been buying off Ebay for 10 years; overall, excellent!
The guy was going to refund my money, but I took a chance and listed it at $150, with a "Buy It Now" price at $180. I sold it on Friday evening for $180, so I think it went OK. I also bought another one, but this time I asked the seller to make sure it had the 520 MHz processor; she said she made sure in the system information. That one I got for $140. It looks like I lucked out. I really can't afford the X51v; I had set a limit at $150. Thanks again for all your help, and it looks like I'll be visiting more frequently now.
