X51v search function a mess!!!

What is up with this? I searched here and couldnt find any posts on this.

(I have the a12 ROM) When I do a "search" and type in a name I am looking for I get all kind of innacurate results, like it show duplicate contacts, and contacts that dont even have the text I searched for in them.

If i hit search again it clears away some of the duplicates, but still show incorrect results!!!

I thought maybe something got corrupted, so I just did a hard reset, then sync'ed my contacts to test, but it still does the same crap!!!

Now i have to reinstall and set up everything again for nothing! What the!@#$ is going on with this crap O/S that a simple search doesnt work properly?

Many little things suck with WM5... Does microsoft even issue updates to address problems with it or do they just abandon WM5 users?

Anyone else see this search problem?

Well I guess nobody here expects a simple search function to work correctly... Have our expectations of our Axims dropped that low???

Ditto... the WM5 search function does not work properly and appears to capture other things other than what you are specifically searching for.

I miss the FIND function of 2002 ... that worked as it should.

Are there other alternatives to the Search function (other than the limited capabilities of the FIND function in WM5's Contact that only searches in the name and phone # fields)? I don't need a completely new PIM, (e.g., Pocket Informant, etc...) ... I just need a reliable search function for calendar and contact database in WM5.
