Apps keep on closing

Hi,

My axim x51v just keeps on closing apps after i run another... for example, if i run coreplayer to listen some music, and after a while try to open opera, coreplayer just quits, the same happens the other way around, and with every program.

Apps i have installed:
Resco file explorer
skype
Coreplayer
tcpmp
Opera
Tomtom
Wisbar

Maybe i am a dumb searcher, but i couldnt find an answer to my question anywhere on this forum/google...

oh and bdw.... please only post if you know an issue with the hardware etc etc.. i know i can hard reset to fix the stuff, or de-install every program to see what fixes it.

Thanx

I have the same issue but it's not very consistent. It seems to be much better since I quit using MagicButton.

I'm having this same problem and it's gotten to be very annoying. I cannot run 2 apps at once. Opening a 2nd app causes the first one running to close. Open another one and the one before it closes. Even after a soft reset, the problem returns. After several soft resets, it may go away for a little while but always comes back. Anyone have a solution to this. Running an x51v with A12. Full specs in myPDA. Thanks for your help.

Hi Guys...
Are you using OXIOS Memory?
I'm having that 'Issue' when using OXIOS CloseApps. It's a feature i suppose.
It frees memory but continues to close apps by sending WM_CLOSE when I switch to another app.
Now I'm using only Oxios Hibernate and all works as it should be so I can run many apps at same time.

It looks like thats the issue exactly Antineutrino. I didn't realize that CloseApps kept sending the close command. All is well now. Thanks so much for clearing that up. It was really beginning to drive me crazy.

It was driving me crazy, too. But after I read again carefully what the official site tell about OXIOS Close Apps I figured it out.... This is a normal and intended behaviour.
The application continuosly send WM_CLOSE command to all apps that don't have focus. Doing so it can substitute programs that replace the 'minimize cross' with 'real close button', such as Magic Button, InClose or WisBar Advance.

Cheers!
