Help in reseting com port for Bluetooth connection

I try to sync my Axim to the PC using Bluetooth. When I add the com port in the Bluetooth Devices, Windows XP Pro assigns the port number "com52". The com ports from 1 to 51 are not listed and I can't remove them. How do I reset the com port in Windows so when I add the com port, it will start at 1? Activesync only uses com ports from 1 to 8.
