Worried 15 Secs not enough

I have had my X51v for a few months - no problems. Then I get boot up problems and I do hard reboot - worked fine, or so I thought. Every time I work off the cradle I get 15 secs before the screen blanks. I have reset my brightness battery power to 3 mins but on next switch on it hs reverted back to 15 secs. Any one out there give me help or have similar problem?

i have no idea, could this be related to ActiveSync and the problems associated with it? there is a link that says a solution here: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=112638

however on my Axim x51V which is brand new, after changing the Schedule time to Manual, if i then delete the fake server the schedule setting goes back to as they arrive or soemthing like that (this will make sense after reading the instructions on that post)

dont know if this is it but only thing i can think of, but please realize ive not had my axim very long so dont trust what i say on this, read the post and see if it is listed as a problem there i guess.

Are you talking about the dim setting in settings->brightness->battery power or the the power off setting in settings->power->advanced. What I do is turn off the dim settings since I don't care to dim the screen and set the power settings to the time I want device to standby (2 min for me).
