Axim 51 with Active Sync

I have an Axim 51 and I am trying to sync with Outlook 2003 using Active Sync 4.2. I also have Franklin COvey's Plan Plus installed in Outlook. When I cradle the Axim and connect, I get a message that says the following:

"Outlook Tasks synchronization is enabled. Plan Plus synchronization cannot be used if Task synchronization is enabled; please disable it and try again."

I have searched throughout Outlook and on my Axim to find a place to disable TASKS SYNCHRONIZATION and cannot find anything. Does anyone know where I need to go to change this?

With your Axim cradled go to Tools->Options in ActiveSync. From there you can choose which items to sync, including Exchange Server Tasks.

I found that my ActiveSynch wouldn't allow me to disable Task Synch - I've been at this all day!!

I've just succeeded by completing the following steps:

- Uninstall Plan Plus from Outlook
- Uninstall Active Synch
- Reinstall Active Synch
- Re-establish a partnership between your 2 devices
- During the set up you will be asked what you wish to synch; deselect Tasks
- Reinstall Plan Plus
- Synchronise as normal

You will need to go through your tasks and use the FC method of prioritisation A1, A2 etc
