Undocumented Calendar Feature?
Just noticed this today on opening up the Calendar monthly view, the thin lines around the number (today's date) flash red for a few seconds and then stays red. Just never noticed this before myself. I do have an appointment for this afternoon, and the little triangle is down in the lower right hand corner as usual.
