PIE tabs problem

Hi...

I've got a big problem with PIE and tabs.

Cause I really need them, I've bought PIEplus... but short after the purchase, every time I open a new tab (both from a link or from menu), it closes the old one.

I tried to change every option (tab height, max tabs number, and so on...), but obviously nothing happened.

Frustrated, I uninstalled it and tried with SPB plus and its PIE integration.

Well... once again, every time I select "open in new window", it closes my old one (I've got Magic Button, so I can see that I've just one session open).

Then I made a Hard Reset, installing just a few application before Pieplus (Magic Button, TotalCommander, Oxios Memory... and OzVGA and a VGA keyboard). That's all.

Now I have an axim pretty clean, with plenty of free RAM (more than 31MB).

And still I have the same problem!!! :realmad:

(This is my second axim, 'cause I broke my last one and I have it replaced by Dell... well... in the previous one, I had the SAME problem!!!!)

Could anyone help me? I'm getting mad.... :bang:

Try removing magic button. It's definitely a software problem of some kind.

Thanks.. I'm going to hard-resetting again, and this time I'll install PiePlus before anything else...

I hope it isn't Magic Button fault, 'cause I love that little but powerful software!

Just adding another info: before resetting, I had PIEplus installed on the SD, and I made a lot of changes (moved DLLs, cache and so on..). I was very confident that avoiding those tweaks, the problem would be gone.

This time I have everything at its place, and in ROM instead of SD... but it didn't worked... :(

Simply removing MagicButton nothing happened... I'm going to hard formatting right now...

I personally used MultiIE and had no problem with it, I believe there is a free rial, you might look into it (have not tried it under WM05 though, only PPC2003 on my X5)

Uhm... since it happens with both PIEplus and SPBplus Internet Explorer, I'm afraid that the cause is not in the browser software, but elsewhere...

BTW, with PIEPLUS as FIRST software installed after HR, it has no problem!

I dont know if I'm happy for the tabs, or worried for the probable sacrifice of MagicButton...

EDIT: with MB as my second software, tabs are always there! :)
Maybe it has to be installed AFTER PIEplus? Or the problem could be in TotalCommander, OzVGA or the ram cleaner Oxios Memory?? Let's try...

EDIT: TotalCommander installed, and all is still OK. And the same with OzVGA...

HERE IT IS!!!

Oxios Memory, a wonderful application (composed by Oxios Hibernate and Oxios Close Apps) that free up a lot of RAM.

After installed and used it (more than 32MB of free RAM), I opened PIEplus and...

...tabs disappear again!!

Problem solved, but now... the problem is in freeing up the RAM!!

S-K tools would do same thing and more. I had them for a while, never an issue.
