Syberia and Knight Tale problems

I have purchased both Syberia and Knights Tale from Handango and am having trouble getting them to work on my Axim X51v. I think the problem is the operator rather than the software. Can anyone shed any light on what I need to do? thanks.

Maybe a few more details would help. Where did you install the programs? What happens when you try to run them?

Knight Tales seems to be downloaded but the only thing I get is a screen that has the Music Yes or No option but will not respond. that's it.

Siberia only gives me a black screen

How much free memory have you got when you're trying to run the program. Have you looked at the required specs? Syberia alone needs 24MB program memory, and 280MB to store it (presumably on a storage card!)

Please DO read / follow my articles thoroughly. In my Knight Tales review (posted to the Games forum), I've mentioned the "Action" button for these kinds of devices: the Today / Menu button (the rightmost one). Unfortunately, this can't be overridden.

I got Knights Tale to work ok but can't figure out how to move beyond the first part.. I understand that rocks have to be moved or something but can't figure out how to make that happen. Can you help me? thanks.

as is also explained in my artricle, you'll need external help for that. Did you find Vivi (the fairy)?

OK so I must just be the dumbest person on the planet. I found where the fairies are but don't seem to be able to get the necessary action do happen when I hit the diamond in that location. I'm assuming that is what you do to get the fairy to appear. I did read your article but while it makes mention of the fairies following you, I didn't see that it tells me how to make that happen.

I'm trying to play it on an x51v with realVGA enabled, 30 mb of free ram--everything goes well until the main menu,where I can neither click on anything with my stylus nor provoke any reaction from the game using any buttons (including the today button). Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I tried it without trueVGA on, and it does seem to work. Although I feel like I might be missing out on the VGA compatability if I don't use trueVGA. Anyone have any ideas how I can make it work using VGA (perhaps try the ozVGA software rather than the one I am using?)

I couldn't get it to work at all. Have some more reseaching to do. What is VGA? I'm still kind of green to this although I have had my X51v

No not yet. I can't figure out how to move things. I use the action button that you are referring to but he punches and kills toads but that's about it.... I'm waiting for that last little bit of info for a woman who loves games but has to have some elementary help sometimes. thanks.

I can also move him and hit the buttons, diamond shaped, that are in the middle of the two figures where I assume the fairies are. nothing happens
