X51 IR to Laserjet 2200 (Failing)

I have a lasjet 2200 which has a IR port so you can print via IR which would be nice for printing agendas etc. anyhow the x51 recognized the hp laserjet2200 then it fails when i try to send. am i doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated:approve:

You need some kind of print software. HP used to have this free on their site but it was pulled a coule of years ago. I not sure there are any ther free versions around but someone may point you to some or you can google 'print and PPC' and probably find something.

ill google it when i get home from work. just seems like something like IR would work without needing addtional software. stooopid me
