Axim X51V processor
Hi everyone,

I am new to the PPC world, just got my first PDA Axim X51v, browse through the forums and downloaded few freewares to try. I encounter a problem, maybe my question has been answered thousands times here, but if there is anyone knows, please kindly reply.

QQ: AXIM X51v has a Intel 624Mhz processor, but some of the freeware I downloaded has only 3 versions of processors, (ARM, MIPS, SH3), which version of software should I install for AXIM X51v? I can't find any Intel Version or maybe Intel is too new in this market?

by the way, one more "stupid" question, I accidentally installed Philips Platform 4 player on my Axim X51v SD card, I heard it was intended to use on ipaq only to view 3GP and stream video.

I try to remove this Platform 4 player from active sync and also from PPC's add/remove program. Now, it would not show on the add/remove list, but I still have an icon for it in Program. I checked my SD card and it is still there, is there anyway to completely remove this file because it does not run on AXIM X51v. Thanks!

Tap and hold the file on the sd card and then select delete.
Also try a soft reset and then uninstall again.

So if you find XScale... Download XScale...
If you find ARMv4 or ARMv5 ... Download ARMv5...
If you find ARMv4 ... Download ARMv4... (It's compatible)
If you find ARM... Download ARM...
