I have a x51, need a soft reset every week.
there's a memory leak... it's either the pocket informant for the battery pack pro...
I don't want to uninstall either... soft reset once a week is ok... kinda healthy maybe, like reboot of a computer every once a while?

Have you checked in the power button menu that it is set to full power off. This might help.

I have by x51v more than a year already. It was bad at first them running in earlier run, not ever since upgraded to the most recent rom, I an very happy with it. Other than the regular soft reset, I am pretty happy with it. I now reset it about once in a day or two. And I use it alot - reading news daily to and from work, listen to music, surf the web at night via WIFI...... so a simple reset seems ok to me given my usage. But it would been totally perfect is even soft reset is but needed. :>

X50 runs smoothly (touch wood) although in October I hard reset the device and only loaded the software that I use regularly. Keeping the device clean/lean with plenty of spare RAM seems to do the trick and has resolved my persistent Bluetooth Licence expired warning.

I had a similar memory problem with BPP. Changed it to PocketBreeze/iLauncher and never had a problem since. I also have PI.

I don't have any problems with my Axim x51v.

It used to WSOD in standby with WiFi on. A12 fixed that and also fixed the Activesync bug.

After A12 I did have a bad memory leak and it would drain my battery constantly (even in standby). Several hard resets fixed it.

My Axim has been in standby before I left for Christmas vacation at work (we get lots of time off for the holidays). December 21st till this morning it was in standby and I had 93% battery left.

The only thing I can't get working is the backlight. I can't get it to stay on when on battery power. If I change it then it will revert back to 3min after a soft reset. I've tried using different power off methods trying to get it to save.

Is it just me?

Its only a minor bug. I used to use it to keep my axim on while driving with iGuidance... but v3 keeps it on, as well as iGO software.
