Unresolved File Item during sync

Recently something has happened in my x51vs My Documents and there is one file that won't sync properly. The ActiveSync error message doesn't tell me which file it is, it just suggests that I shut down everything and try again. I've tried that, of course, but the file is still unresolved. Is there any way to tell what file is hanging the sync?

Whenever this has happened to me, I find that the troublesome file is the one that has had changes made to it from both the Axim and the PC.

Delete Partnersip in ActiveSync (without deleting files).. then remove from cradle, plug back in.. make new partnership... it's happened to me before, maybe its a bug

Thanks for the tips guys. Sadly, I still haven't resolved it. Turns out I've got some corrupted file in the My Docs structure that is causing the problem.

I have a folder called 'backup' with nothing in it with 0 size that I can't delete. That is what seems to be causing the problem.

I sure do love Microsoft!!

*wonders off to check on the Linux for Axim project*

EDIT: After punching various error message into google, I finally found a solution for my problem. As I mentioned, I had a folder called backup that couldn't be deleted. It seems the folder name had become corrupted I had to use the short filename for the folder (found by running dir /x from a command prompt) and then I could use a rmdir command to kill the folder. After that, I dropped my copied My Documents contents back in the My Docs folder and synced up.

Geez.. what a pain. And I have no idea what caused it.
