Problem with BT, ActiveSync, Attachments

I have an X51v w A12 ROM. It works quite well, except I am having a problem transferring mail attachments via AS over BT. Now, AS works fine in all other areas. I can also transfer files, load applications, etc. with no problems. I am using the Microsoft stack.

The problem only seems to occur when syncing mail attachments. If the attachment is larger than say 200k, BT on the X51v stops working. The blue light continues to blink, the BT icon stays green, but if I go to the BT manager the Turn on Bluetooth checkbox is unchecked. I believe the radio is off. If I check the box again, exit BT manager, then go back into BT manager, the checkbox is unchecked again. The only way to get the radio to work again is a soft reset.

I am wondering if the Widcomm stack might correct this behavior. I have avoided it since everything else seems to work ok. But I am getting tired of this problem.

Any suggestions welcome!

Frank
