I'm not sure, did you do a soft reset? Try unloading and reloading the software if soft reset fails. I wouldn't want to do a hard reset, you would have to reload everything. What version are you runnng, A12?
Check your \Windows and \Windows\fonts for *.ttf files, if you do not have MS Reader (or some other program that uses additional fonts) installed then you should not have any extra files. If you find any then delete them and soft reset, it may help....
-=EDIT=-
You should only have cour.ttf, tahoma.ttf and tahomabd.ttf as standard and you will not see them if you have "Hide files in ROM" set in Total Commander.
Also, do you only get it in one particular program, or all programs?

Soft reset, yes, many times.
I'll try unloading/reloading software.
Hard reset is out of the question as you said, hehe.
I would get rid of msgothic, in the past I've put a font (a symbol font) in the \windows\fonts\ directory and had nothing but trouble. Symbols rather than letters.... Delete it and then soft reset, or if delete fails move it to \temp and delete it later. That is unless you actually need the font...

The only other thing I can suggest is moving it out of the fonts directory and into the \Windows directory itself, it could be that windows tries to use fonts in \Windows\Fonts before it uses the ones that are installed on the device by default in \Windows.
It's only a shot in the dark I know, but it is worth a try. As before, try to move it and then soft reset and try the app again to see if it worked.

Agree. Try removing and resetting and see if it works, then decide whether you should keep that fonts.
I finally fixed this....LOL!!!! You guys wouldn't believe me if I told you how simple it was.
I removed tgetfile.dll and just kept filedlgchg.cpl & gsgetfile.dll. - no change
I downloaded the newest versions of gsgetfile.dll and filedlgchg.cpl = PROBLEM FIXED!
