BIS hack???

BIS is so slow, especially compaired to an SD card...

is there any way to 'hack' the system, to either speed up BIS, or convert it to the way WM5 handles the memory?

BIS on x50v is a NOR Memory (FAST reading, slow writing) so there isn't any way to speedup...
The only hack could be to put the O.S. on the SD and modify the bootloader to search for O.S. on the SD instead of BIS....
But, NONE did it yet....
I think it's very difficult...
