rooback to 2003se questions - problems

okay, even the new WM5 A02 was slow and clunky, so i rolled back to 2003se... but had problems.

it took forever to rewrite, i got a white screen, then when the system came up, it was VERY slow while alining the screen. once past that, it seems fast and fine.

will it work if i re-install the A05, and should i do it?

i just feel if it started out with some problems, i would like to now before installing everything, re-do the A05.

This is absolutely normal. The device seems sluggish because a background thread is formatting the BIS. Once this is done your axim will operate absolutely fine. You just have to let it finish the formatting process.

should i worry about the process, and do a re-install of A05 (if it will let me???),
or just relax... the unit is fine.

i ask because back in the old Win98 days, when you would do a re-install just to clean up the crud, if something went wrong while loading stuff, it made more sense to start over and re-install then to keep going.
