Upgrade from wm2003 to wm2005 A01 problems with USB sync Cable

Hello im not on here much and i had a good old rumage through the threads for this but couldnt see much.

I recently updated my axim x50v from wm2003 A05 to the 2005 A01 version and i am having problems syncing my pda to my work computer Via USB cable i didnt used to have to install drivers for it to work when it was wm2003 and now it is asking for them do i need to install the disk onto my work computer do you think?

and just for information my work activesync is version 3.7.1 could this also be a problem
