Help, Connection Wizard and Widcomm Bluetooth Manager shows different connections
I hv Widcomm stack (ver 0.38) installed in my X51v. The problem is that I can't connect my PDA to my phone thru bluetooth to access Internet.
When I select Start->Settings->Connections->Advanced->Select Networks and create a new connection, I am required to set Modem settings. I choose "Bluetooth" as the modem type and then am asked to choose a connection. The problems are:
i) When I press "New Partnership", the PDA starts to scan but I get the msg "Problem with Bluetooth hardware"
ii) The new connections I build using Widcomm stack are not available in Connection Wizard.
iii) The Connection Wizard shows many existing connection partnerships. But these are partnerships that I built before I installed Widcomm stack. I hv already deleted these partnerships after installing Widcomm stack (and thus they are not available in Widcomm bluetooth manager anymore) but somehow these partnerships are still available in "Connection Wizard".... When I tried to use these connections I got the msg "Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection......".
I backup my PDA, upgrade to V0.5 and try again but the same symptoms appear again. Right now I hv restored the backup.
Would someone pls help?
