Sometimes I get no response.

Sometimes when I select something (it can be anything) like "Help" in the start menu or when I select "Memory" or anything else I get no response but when I do the same thing again it works although "Help" never works. Already today twice when I was using the e-sword program I selected something and the program completely shut down so I re-started it and did the same thing and it worked.

So sometimes I get no response and other times a program will completely shut down. Is anyone familiar with this problem?

Where are you installing everything to? You should install your pim to main memory or whatever it's now called in wm5, and the rest onto flash card unless otherwise specifed by the software.

I just read your two posts and then went to look at how much RAM is left. Now I did have the e-sword program open and no other programs running except Wisbar Advance 2 and Wisbar Advance Desktop. There are no PIM's installed. Immediately e-sword again closed down although there was 25.23MB of RAM still available and 80.65 of ROM left. I see where you are coming from because it does sound like a memory problem but I have plenty left over so I don't get what is going on here.

Could someone please tell me how to solve this problem because I'm at a total loss. My X51v can't even run 1 program whilst wisbar advance 2 and wisbar advance desktop are running? I mentioned in my first post that "Help" never runs although when I just turned off wisbar it ran yet I know that lots of people are running wisbar just fine.

My solution was a hard reset

I think it was a memeory problem but it shouldn't have been happening. Seems ok now though.:approve:

Chris from Lakeridgesoftware is working on some WA2 memory leak. I have this same issue trying to tap anything from menu and only 2nd attempt works. My guess is these 2 things are connected. It doesn't happen without WA2 and WAD installed.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't mind the hard reset too much as I have only just got the AX so there wasn't much on it. Hopefully Chris will solve this problem soon.

I was worried something might have been wrong with the device itself so that makes me feel alot better:approve:
