Control Axim via IR (infra red receive)?

Most of us some remote control stuff at home (TV,VCR,CD,DVD).

I am thinking of using these remote control stuff to control axim and applications.

eg. If somehow any button on tv remote control can be detected and translate into mobile powerpoint 'forward to next page' would be great! Useful for axim presentation.

Anyone know having such application?

This would be useful for those that does not have a bluetooth phone, or the bluetooth phone can't pair with axim.

Conduits PocketSlides does exactly this. You can use any remote control to trigger the Axim to advance a slide. You can also use bluetooth devices.

But pocketslides require document conversion.

Clearvue, plays ppt off directly.

So, if there is an independent IR receiving program that can map to programs and buttons would be great! Limitless possibilites

Yeh this would be great, I use my Axim in the car for music and navigation it would be great to use some software to trigger volume and switch between songs. Would really help me keep my eyes on the road and hands where they are needed more.
