I'm getting an opened battery cover message every once in a while in my 51v, even though its closed up does anyone else have this issue?

I did with my first refurbished x51v (first replacement for original purchase). The problem got so bad that when I'd set the thing down on a desk or table, I'd get the battery warning or get a "safety power down." I returned it too, but tech support tried to get me to only swap out the battery cover. Since I have the full damage warranty, I asked for a whole new unit. I got the new (refurbished replacement) one in three days and haven't had a problem since. I think it's a problem with the switch or sensor in the device.

This is a known issue on some x51v's. People have fixed this by putting a tiny piece of tape on the posts of the battery cover. If you search this site you will find more details.

is it only the x51v models that have this problem? Or does the x51 get this as well?
