A Hard Reset will return the X50v to the last version of the ROM that was installed. The registry is set back to it's original state. The only thing that remains is any files that were placed in the Built-in storage. Also, any data on your CF and SD cards remain.
To connect your SE 550i to your phone, you must have a dataplan that supports this. If you do, the connection is pretty simple:
1) in the 550i, make sure you have bluetooth set to visible. That way the X50v can see it.
2) in the X50v, select the Bluetooth icon at the bottom of the today screen, and select Bluetooth Manager from the pop-up menu.
3) Press the New menu option at the bottom.
4) From the list, select "Connect to Internet via Phone"
5) In the list of phones, select "Ericsson T68i". Then, press Next.
6) on the Prepare you Phone page, press Next. You've already turned on visibility in step 1.
7) Your 550i should show up on the next page, select it and press Next.
8) On the next page put in a passkey. (This can be anything.) Press Next.
9) On the phone, it should prompt you to Add to My Devices, or some similar text. Press Yes, and enter the same passkey that you entered on the Axim.
At this point, they should be paired and an icon should be shown on the Bluetooth Manager screen for Dial-up Networking.
10) To connect to your data service, press and hold on this icon, and select connect. You should see a screen that asks you to Select a Connection. Select New Connection and press OK.
11) Type in a name for the Connnection.
12) For the phone number use "*99***1#" (This is a special number for SE phones to tell it to use the 1st data connection.) If you have multiple data connections setup on on the phone, you can tell it to use the other one by replacing the "1" with the number of the other connection.
That should be it!
