Programs on SD card exit after power off/on cycle

I searched the forums but couldn't find similar thread so I decided to post the question here...

I am running into the following issue with my x51v:

1. I run a program from an SD Card (e.g. MySportTraining)
2. I turn off the x51v without exiting the program
3. I turn it back on (time spent in the 'suspended' state doesn't seem to matter - it can be a few seconds to a number of hours)
4. As soon as I try to interact with the program again, it terminates
(If I re-launch it, it works fine; but any interactions right after the power on cause it to terminate).

Any idea why this might be happening? Is it specific to that application or does it have to do with the fact that it resides on the SD Card?

It's because it's on the SD Card. Some applications terminate when they can no longer sense their executable files. Some don't. The SD card takes a little while to initialise.

No reliable ones I've seen.

Although, sometimes moving it to CF Card works (even though that also takes time to be read...)

Hmm, that's really too bad, as I keep most of my apps on SD card. I'm surprised that this issue has not been addressed.

that happens to me with my music on my microdrive,it'll shut off thinking I opened the battery latch then when I turn it back on the now playing in WMP disappears,sometimes that happens,sometimes it doesn't.
