Aximsitewifiicon WiFi stops working after a while...

I dont have a desktop in my room, so I leave my X51v plugged into the wall and with WiFi/BT turned on. I've notieced, though, that after 5 hours or so, the wifi 'drops' and starts "connecting" untill I soft-reset, sometimes even that does not work and I have to turn off WiFi, soft reset, turn off my router (or move completely out of range) turn on WiFi so it detects NO APs, then turn it back off, turn the router back on (or go back in-range) and turn WiFi back on so it will connect to the AP.

Can somone tell me what the heck is going on and if there is a fix? I have the A012 ROM installed

i have the same problem and switching Wifi auto save feature does not work. i went to Start - setting - connections - network cards and changed my network adapter to connect to "work" instead of "internet" and now i can load yahoo page and goggle page but my device won't connect to any other page from there. I get message "This page cannot be loaded because the connection was lost" While the bar at the bottom of the screen indicates that im connected.

EDIT: okay so i disabled power save mode for wifi and it worked. ty everyone!

Ok... I am going to be investing in a second battery it looks like... turning off power save fixed it! Now I jsut have to worry about how fast this is going to drain my battery.

Thanks everyone!

Try switching it back to powersave mode once connected.

This behavior is very odd. Some people has to disable powersave to connect, some don't. I personally never experienced this and I always use powersave (wifi and processor) no matter where I go to save battery. I usually don't have to change these settings. The only time I disable powersave is when I try to connect to a very weak signal (1 bar) and once connected, I switch it back to powersave.
