I just attached mine with a drop of Super Glue. Heck - I've had the thing for 2 years now and nothing has gone wrong with it. If something breaks that requires me to get at the screws underneath I'll just buy another unit now - this one doesn't owe me a cent!
The feet have fallen both SWMBO and my own units, I've glued them back on using silicone rubber adhesive, as it provides a good glue that is relatively easy to remove later, is absolutely non-corrosive and is easy to clean up without making a mess of things unlike superglue which can be messy and warp the plastic.
Google for "Loctite 5145" for the specific glue I've used in the past. As always it's only personal preference and alternatives are available. YMMV.
I believe this is also covered in the "Tips from the Trenches" thread in the Tips 'n' Tricks forum....

the left feet of my Ax has gotten all juicy on me all of a sudden.... Must be because of the horrid hot and hummid summer weather here... I'm thinking about cleaning the glueish stuff on it and paste it back with some glue... but I don't know... I might as well just have it in the case and forget about the whole thing...
