Invalid Windows CE Cab File Error - HELP!

Hi,

I am trying to install the trial version of SPB Mobile Shell. I keep getting an error stating that Spb Mobile Shell.CAB is not a valid Windows CD Setup File.

Does anyone know why I am getting this error and how I can correct it.

I figured it out - I don't use WM5.

That may not be the reason. If you have an older version of Microsoft ActiveSync and you install a program with more than one CAB file (say, one written for a Smartphone or a Pocket PC), the older ActiveSync doesn't always know which CAB to use. If you upgrade to the new ActiveSync, you may find it installs fine.

PamAxim - You're reasoning that the error was caused because you don't have WM5 is sound, since you are running WM2003SE and SPB Mobile Shell is only for WM5 and higher.

ScratchyPDX is correct. I know my other SPB software runs on either of my Axims. Didn't realize the Mobile Shell was WM5 only.

I am running Activesync 4.2 -
I really believe the problem is because Spb Mobile Shell is for WM5 and I just missed it when I tried to install it the first time.
