How reliable is X51v's Digitizer?

Hi!

I bought my device a couple of weeks ago, and was wondering this, since I came from a Palm LifeDrive that a couple of months after I got started having the well-known-in-Palm-community digitizer drifts.

Besides drifting (I'm not talking about that only), how are digitizers on this models? Are too fragile? Will they develop either drifting or dead spots, or something particular I should have extra care on? Too much pressure could damage it? Etc etc.

Thanks in advance, really; as I would love to know this. :)

I've had my x51v for a little over a year and have had zero problems with the digitizer. I've only calibrated it three times; when it was new, after installing rom a06, and after installing rom a12.

I had x51 for over a year. Never had to recal (except after a hard reset).
So in that sense, it is pretty good.

I agree with you. I have had my X51V for 15 months and have used the digitizer only upon switching from one unit to another due to issues not related to the digitizer. With each ROM upgrade was a required calibration of the screen. Other than that I never calibrate the screen.
