how do I get rid of an e-mail account?

Right now I have a g-mail.com account thst doesn't work and I want to get rid of it, how can I do this?

start, settings, system, remove programs, and then select the application you want to remove. This was covered in the hard copy manual that came with my unit.

lol. not remove the program, remove acct settings from mail.

Srry to hear you cant get gmail to work for ya. works fine here...

go to messaging program...
Menu>tools>options>accounts tab. tap-hold on account you want to delete.

Thanks driftless. I swear I did that like 50 times before I posted and nothing would happen, and then somehow after reading your post and then doing the same thing, it worked. Oh well.

Also, how'd you get your gmail account to work with the x51v? When I looked through the POP3 tutorials they didn't have one specifically for whatever email program is on the x51v (some mutation of outlook?), and since if I were a sandwhich I'd be covered with noobsauce, I'm sure I didn't set it up right. If you wanted to leave some little run through of how to set it up (like what "domain" do i put in..) it'd be very helpful.

I set up my gmail to go to my flexmail 2007 account...

You have to enable your POP account at gmail

And then configure flexmail or other mail program

Make sure use authentication, SSL, ports listed, account names etc that have listed on the help page when configuring your flexmail

I was able to set it up and receive mail without any issues
