Transcend 4GB SD Card!

I have two 4gb SD cards from Transcend. They worked great for a while. Now they spontaneously delete everything (format itself) at least every other day, sometimes more often. Anyone else having this problem? This is really frustrating!!!!!!

oh dear, that's worrying, how long have you had them, as I recently purchased a 60x one about a month ago. It's working ok so far, but I could do without it wiping it's contents.

Worth contacting the supplier, or Transcend and see if it's a known problem and about replacements.

yeah, i did earlier today. i learned my lesson after the second time and backed everything up on the sd card so now i just have to copy the files back onto the card from my desktop. i also carry a backup SD card in the case (scan disk). i had the first about 10 months before the issues started.

I've got a 150x Transcend 4GB SD card...had for almost a year without any problems. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones?

i hope so. tried again but it won't keep any data (neither). hmmm... too light for a paper weight and too small for a door stop.

Maybe you should contact Transcend, www.transcendusa.com. Their cards come with a lifetime warranty.

I had ordered a Transcend 4GB SD off tigerdirect....It came and essentially was junk....Couldn't be recognized by my Axim then it would see it...sometimes...etc. I exchanged it and it seems to work fine for now....

My backup is currently residing on the SD card but may be I will move it away now....
