Your Thoughts on Upgrading from X30 (mid) and/or What to do with a broken X30 (high)?

Sorry, But I needed to get your attention. . .

I've been thinking a while about moving up from my X30 (mid) to one with VGA -- otherwise why bother?

Also, now that WM6 is out I'm getting the feeling my old (yet very reliable and dependable) WM2003SE will be gone before I know it. (and by gone I mean just not 'supported' by the market as robustly as I would like).

Now I've got a working X30 (mid) as well as a broken X30 (high) (Mexican Blanket of death, and maybe a broken ribbon connector (where the display ribbon connects not the ribbon itself)) in addition to the appropriate accouterments (Cases, cradle/connectors, styli, etc).

My thought/question is -- Do I try selling these and use that money to get a VGA unit (50v/51v)? How far can selling these items get me towards a new one? Or do I wait longer to see what new (non Dell VGA) units come out?

And/Or Any ideas (other than selling/giving away) on what do with the X30 (high). I figure its not worth the money to send it out to PPCTechs to fix the screen but It's still in (otherwise) great shape.

Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
