Another OCD-related post... my stylus just fell from ~25cm above the floor, into it (concrete floor) right with the tip to it. Now I just panic... could the point have deformed, bent, pinched, marked, whatever? I tried looking at it with a flashlight and haven't found nothing... but I KNOW that at least, 2 atoms went straight to hell with that fall, and that drives me crazy...
What do you think of it? Is the tip sturdy enough? What should I do!!!
I would not use it again as you say that it fell to the concrete floor tip-first. I'm sure some concrete dust or dirt has embedded itself into the tip. Using the stylus would surely scratch your screen as the concrete dust would be very sharp...somewhat like sandpaper. I know first-hand as I ruined a Palm screen this way. Best to get a replacement.
Actually, it was concrete as in CEMENT, I just don't know how to describe the floor... it isn't sandbox, would be like marble but neither...
In any case, that wasn't what was bothering me... because I'm 100% sure that it won't scratch the screen since 1)I use a screen protector 2) the fall was so small 3) nothing is in the tip; either marked or embedded 4) etc.
The thing that bothers me is that I feel it isn't "perfect" anymore, I'd love to know if you think the tip is strong enough or if it would have bent, marked, or something. THAT'S what makes me suffer... :S
PS: As a commentary, I think the stylus isn't too heavy as to imbue great pressure again the tip... don't you think?
