Bought used - X50 need help

Just bought a used X50 for my wife. I have an X51v. Problem is it does not come with any of the original software. Can I install from my x51v stuff or do I need something specific for the x50?

You can try. The x50 has wm2003se and does not upgrade well to the current OS because of hardware differences. I'd think most of your stuff will run on wm2003se.

I'm not finding any incompatibility with my X50, but I haven't added new stuff in almost a year.

If there's a problem, reliev is just a hard reset away. :)

It sounds like you should start by doing a hard reset. That will remove anything that the previous owner has installed, and then start from scratch.
